Use of the Website
These pages are published so that a homeowner can work out what a job involves before picking up the telephone. Using the site means accepting the terms set out here.
Nothing on this site is an offer, a price or a contract. Work is agreed in a written estimate for a specific property.
Accuracy of Information
Timescales, methods and descriptions here are general. The age of a covering, the number of layers, the state of the decking and the access around a house all change what any particular job involves.
Where this site describes what a service usually covers, the estimate for your property is what actually governs the work.
Estimates
An estimate is prepared after somebody has been to the property. It is free and it carries no obligation.
An estimate holds for the scope written on it. Work uncovered once an old covering is off — soft decking most often — is priced separately and agreed before it is carried out.
Scheduling and Access
Dates are arranged around weather and around the access on the day. A roof is not opened wider than can be dried in before the crew leaves, so a forecast can move a start.
Where a skip or a permit is needed, the arrangement is written into the estimate. Access across a neighbouring property is never assumed.
Photographs of Work
Photographs taken at your property are shared with you. We may also keep them as a record of the work, and occasionally use an image of a roof in our own material. Nothing identifying the address or the household is published.
Intellectual Property
The text, photographs and layout of this site belong to this business. Copying them wholesale for another roofing site is not permitted; quoting a sentence with a link back is fine.
Limitation of Liability
This website is informational. Decisions about a roof should rest on an inspection of that roof, not on a web page.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from relying on general information here rather than on an estimate for your property.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, and any dispute is dealt with by the courts of that state.
